Creativity Workshop - Abstract - FEB/MAR2025
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner, but all skill levels are welcome
AGES: 14-100+
2 SESSION OPTIONS: Fri, 2/28/25 @ 6:30-9:00pm OR Sat, 3/1/25 @ 10:00-12:30pm
Join Beth Smith, the artist behind MamaDuck Art, for a 2.5-hour, in-person creativity workshop. This is NOT a formal watercolor workshop. Instead, we will enjoy the creative process as you play with watercolor, pens, paints, and stencils to create a one-of-a-kind abstract mixed media painting and discover the creative within. No rules; just fun!
The workshop’s main project will be an 8×10" abstract painting. And yes, you can do this!! All materials will be provided. You only need to show up, ready for some creativity and fun.
LOCATION: St. Francis United Methodist Church Pavilion - Classroom #3; 4200 McKee Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270 (This is not the main church building; it’s in a building of classrooms.)
NOTE: An email will be sent with directions and arrival times about 3-4 days before the session date.
NOTE: Workshops are non-refundable due to the purchase and preparation of materials as well as location rental.
